| This is how we masked the Chevelle
pass. compartment. This car did not need a lot of prep work. The students
repaired some dents, sanded and painted the car. We have done several of these
Chevelles. All the cars were owned by the same person; all cars were
SS396, four speed cars.

The students stripped
the Chevelle hardtop.
This paint on this car looked OK when we started but when we stripped the
paint we found lots of bondo-filled dents. We took the windshield out of the car
because there was rust in the cowl.

We replaced a subframe on this TransAm.
This Trans Am was hit so hard in the front the cowl and the roof were
buckled. All four tires had flat spots from the driver slamming on the brakes
before the crash. The students put a front end on the car; the owner provided
the parts. We found out that the radiator support for a ’78 Trans Am is
different than a ’79 Trans Am.

We painted these two muscle cars
in the spring of 2003.
This is the Trans Am after repairs. The other car is the first Chevelle
SS396 that we repainted.
