 Mustang convertible project

 

This car needs a repaint and
some body work.

Dustin has removed the front
 bumper assembly.

   
   

The students are separating the
 headlight panel from the
bumper cover.

Chemical stripper is used to remove the
paint on the right side of the vehicle. 
Notice the cardboard to collect the run off.

   
   

Mike is welding a patch on the left
quarter panel.

Mike is removing the
right door.

   
   

Terris is sanding the surfacer.

Dustin and Devin are masking.

   
   

Shaun and Terris are trimming and
painting areas that will be covered
when the vehicle is assembled.

Shaun, Terris, Devin and Trevor trimmed
the Mustang.  For the first 3 students,
this was their first paint job.

   
   

Shaun and Terris are installing the
left door and fender.

The right fender, door and front bumper assembly are installed.

   
   

The surfacer has been sanded.

The students are masking.

   
   

Terris is spraying basecoat.

The students are removing the masking.

   
   

The Mustang is painted.
